Care

Silk is a delicate fabric that typically requires special care when cleaning, as stains tend to adhere easily to this protein fiber. Most of our products can be washed in the washing machine, however, some are best washed by hand with a mild detergent. To remove moderate stains, wash the entire textile. Dark or unpleasant stains should be taken to a dry cleaner. Never use bleach or treat a stain on a specific spot on your textile, as rubbing an area of silk can cause lightening at that spot. Slight bleeding of pigment is common in hand dyed fabrics.
